Arslan Athar

Arslan Athar is a writer and publisher based in Lahore, Pakistan, whose fiction and essays explore identity, home, and power. They founded Run; On Press, through which they also launched The Desi Collective, a fiction magazine for South Asia, and published their debut novel Forty Days of Mourning, set in Hyderabad Deccan, 1947. Arslan was a South Asia Speaks Fiction Fellow (2021), mentored by Pakistani author Fatima Bhutto.
