David Maillu
David Maillu is a prolific Kenyan author, renowned for his novels since the 1970s. His works, including Unfit for Human Consumption, After 4:30, The Flesh, and My Dear Bottle, are celebrated for their bold and provocative style, which reshaped East African literature and established him among the region’s literary giants. He has received numerous accolades, including the Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature, recognising his enduring contribution to the literary landscape.
