Mutahi Michael

Mutahi Michael is an award-winning Kenyan puppeteer and filmmaker with more than two decades of experience using puppetry for storytelling, education, and social change. His work combines performance, film, and character creation to engage audiences of all ages. Mutahi has produced puppet-based films and educational programmes that have earned recognition from the Kenya Film Commission. His work has been featured locally and internationally, including initiatives using puppetry to communicate important social messages such as public-health awareness. Through his craft, he continues to champion puppetry as a creative tool for learning, cultural expression, and community engagement.
