Ziya Africa is a Kenyan artist and social impact champion whose work explores identity, longing, and liberation through music, language, and storytelling. His debut album, Uhuru wa Nafsi (Freedom of the Soul), reflects self-liberation and spiritual depth. He is the founder of Civic Rise Africa, a youth-led initiative empowering young people to understand governance, access opportunities, and use digital media for social change. In 2024, Civic Rise translated Kenya’s Finance Bill into multiple local languages, including sign language, sparking national attention and reigniting civic engagement across rural communities.
