Nanjala Nyabola

Nanjala Nyabola is a Kenyan writer, political analyst, and researcher whose work explores the intersections of technology, governance, and society in Africa. She is the author of Digital Democracy, Analogue Politics: How the Internet Era is Transforming Politics in Kenya, Travelling While Black: Essays Inspired by a Life on the Move, and Strange and Difficult Times: Notes on a Global Pandemic. Nyabola’s commentary on politics, digital rights, and global inequality has appeared in international outlets including Al Jazeera, Foreign Policy, and The Guardian. Based in Nairobi, she continues to write and speak widely on democracy, technology, and social change across the continent.
