Njeri Gitungo is a producer, program manager, DJ, and member of Nairobi’s Nest Collective. She champions collaborative, team-oriented models that drive systemic change in the arts and culture sector. Njeri produces Strictly Silk, an acclaimed dance event uniting women, trans-women, and non-binary performers and audiences, garnering international attention. Committed to closing the gender gap in African arts, she develops sustainable training and work ecosystems and engages in high-level policy and strategy networks to advance equality, innovation, and cross-sectoral collaboration across the creative industries.
